if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined foodd
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

Mout powder is supposed to be very good but you should always try to increase more of fluids into the diet so that natural things are going to be beneficial and reducing down the constipation and also you should give more of fluids and like I said papaya should be there and start the day with a glass of warm water
