#asktheexpert my son has been suffering from fever since last 3days ,with mild stomach ache,dry cough,chest congestion, getting headache while coughing. thought it would be viral.so giving him P- 5ml with 6hrs interval a day. could it be a bacterial infection?can you suggest me any other medicine

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. fever for more than 3 days is not a simple fever and examination is required for the same and you can continue to give the fever medicine like paracetamol and if needed higher medicine like ibugdesic / meftal p.
kindly do body sponge and give fluids at regular intervals and regular diet and meet the doctor immediately.

It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly
