#asktheexpert My son has a seizure due to a high fever, so he has been given an anticonvulsant.He is due to receive his fourth vaccination next month.After the fourth vaccination.If he gets a high fever after the fourth vaccination.Can I give you an anti-seizure pill and paracetamol?Or should I give the medicine provided by the government hospital?

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 2 m old girl9 months agoA. hi i understand the concern but the thing is ..you need to measure the temperature reapetativly if it is 100f or above ,start giving peracetamol drops . dress your child lightly. and keep him well hydrated. please discuss this issue with your treating doctor for once.
