#AskTheExpert My son,14 months old, weight 8.5 kg,is suffering from ITP for 3-4 month and given ivig and 2 unit platletson 12 August 21 as his platlets count was 4000and only ivig on 8 sep 21 when platlets was 15000,and we are giving 3 ml omnacortil fort twice a day, his platlets count was 35000 on 16 sep2021. As my doctor is saying that ther is no medication for ITP, as such. Kindly guide me what to do now,and when I should go to hospital?
