Q.

#asktheexpert My six year old daughter is not growing in height. She has limited appetite too.what should I be worried for?

A. Hai good morning !! What about weight and diet?? If growth not upto the mark concentrate on diet. Give protein,calcium ,high calorie foods helps in bone,muscle strength. Dals(pulses),diary products,nuts,egg,meat,poultry...in regular diet also exercise,yoga,cycling or any outdoor games,expose to sunlight daily. Give timely feedings high fibre foods which increase appetite ,avoid constipation if any. Check with doctor for deworming medication.
