#asktheexpert My sin is 18 months old, he mouth stink, bad breath. what to do. I started brushing his teeth late, around 14 month. is this the reason. some yellow coating is visible on his front teeth. please help

ExpertDr Suruchi JunejaPediatric Dentist7 months agoA. Dear parent, bad breath in children is a common problem. It is often caused due to insufficient oral hygiene measures. Twice daily brushing should be done along with cleaning of teeth after every meal. If the problem still persists please consult your nearest pediatric dentist.Other reasons for bad breath can be cavities, certain bacteria, systemic diseases.
