#AskTheExpert my periods are late by 10days I had done HCG serum blood test results shows less than0.1miu/ml . what does it mean ? is it related to any other problem or normal range? is that less than 0.1miu/ml is normal range or any issue is there any chance to pregnancy what to do now

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. The value of the beta hcg is very less and it is not indicative of pregnancy and it is likely that the reason for missed periods is some sort of hormonal disturbances

The report always indicates if you are pregnant or not
when pregnant , the value of hcg is very high
you may use the home based test kit as well..
if there is unprotcted intercourse there is always a chace of pregnancy
the value suggests that you are not pregnant
please consult your gynaecologist
