Q.

#asktheexpert My new born is not having his motions properly. You can say it's very tight and he tries very hard for his motions to happen. Also he doesn't sleep at night at all.

A. Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time. It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also. The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the smelld of the stool Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal. the crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation

A. It is completely normal for a child so I am sleeping in the night sometimes can be improper due to stomach pain or gas issue so you can give Himalaya Bonnisan five drops if needed that is going to help in easing down your child
