Q.

#AskTheExpert My new born baby 5.5 days old. he is having 10.8 on day 1 & 13.9 Bilirubin level on day 3rd I can see his nose yellow, and eyes yellow from day 2 but since today day 5 i see little bit recovery, as we are giving him frequent breast feeding, morning sun light for vitamin D and vitamin D3.05ml daily. what should we do to recover from jaundice/ bilirubin level? can you suggest remedy?

A. yes ot is ok for now. Breast feeding should be exclusively till 6 month of age. If not possible then only milk formula should be given. After that you can start with top feed along with cow milk .
