#AskTheExpert my last period was 17 days delayed.actually i m taking unwanted 72 pill once in a month, is that pill cause delay in periods.

ExpertDr Sanjana sainaniObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 years agoA. yes having an iPill can be e the reason for your your period delay but one thing is important that you have to be safe when it comes to pregnancy also you should not take I pill in every month you should find a permanent solution if you don't want kids any further

A. hello, I had taken unwanted 72 last month and 10 days after my periods came11 July , but after that 10 days I got periods again on 20july. now its 20 Aug but my periods didn't come yet. I had done pregnancy test too and its negative. plz help me I m vry worried

Neha SharmaMom of a 11 yr 5 m old boy5 years agoA. Yes,this is main reason for that but as you mentioned your periods are seventeen days delayed it's been a long time,do pregnancy test,and if it's negative then don't worry twice in year periods skip,it's normal.
