#asktheexpert My kid is turning 1this 23 he is yet to start walking but he crawls and is very active. Is it okay for kids to walk a little later

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. crawling can start anytime around 6 months of age. but many times it may come to the child by 12 months of age also. if the child is not having any other complaints no need to worry. it is advisable not to use walker and let the child play and makfe attempts on its own. give regular baby massage and diet and encouragement

Yes it is totally alright what you do is to encourage your child hold the hand of your child and make your child walk with support and then only the child is going together the courage and will encourage to walk independently and with support over the period
