Q.

#AskTheExpert my kid is 5 year 3 month old and he ways only 17kg. he is very thin and looks bony. is there any tonic we can give to him?

A. 17 kg weight is good. Give well balanced diet including all five healthy food groups: vegetables, fruit, grain foods, dairy and protein. Avoid foods high in salt, saturated fat and sugar, foods low in fibre and nutrients, and drinks with caffeine or lots of sugar. 7

A. hi sir , your child weighs really good. so no need to worry about his /her physical appearance. personally I believe that if a child looks happy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about physical appearance . because for a child it is not necessary to look Chubby.
