#AskTheExpert my kid is 4 years 7 months.why fever is coming every alternate week.one week he is well and after that he gets fever again

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be da again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. If. The fever is repeating every week then probably your child is suffering with some infection which is not cured completely because fever is mostly due to some kind of an infection in the body kindly get a detailed check up done for your child
