#asktheexpert My kid is 3 and a half years old . Last month he on and off got heavy cough sometimes loose motions sometimes fever. So I got him check with the tests as per the doctor. He got heavy blood infection and as per the doctor I gave him 6 days medicine and dint visit doctor again after 6 days. Again after 10 days he has again started coughing. Is it coz of blood infection ??

A. The causes of hemoptysis or Coughing up blood can be many. Most common causes in children in India are related to infections like pneumonia and tuberculosis or TB.
