#asktheexpert my grand daughter is 15 months old...every she is drinking lots of milk..eating less food..nights 3 ,4 times she will drink...please give me any suggestions. namaste

A. Is she still on breast milk? Milk and milk products consumption should be reduced to less than 500 ml per day. I hope you would have introduced whole cow's milk to your daughter as it is essential for rapid growth and development of the kid. Toddlers eat less when compared to infants. Offer small portions of food. Only when she asks for more, give more. Do not force the kid to eat. Offer different textures of foods. Give soft finger foods. Offer colourful foods in colourful plates. Cut foods into different shapes using food cutters to attract the attention of the kid. Praise the kid even if she finishes only a small part of her meal.
