Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter will be an year old on 16 Dec .I was giving formula milk to her since day one with bottle .Since 2 months she is taking proper meals and milk around 1 litre per day. since I am trying to discontinue bottle but she is accepting milk with glass or sipper If I am not giving her milk will it erect her health pls guide

A. Yes. Breast milk or first infant formula is still important for energy and nutrients during the first year, and should be their main drink until 12 months. You can continue breastfeeding for as long as you both want. At this stage of weaning, your baby may be down to about 3 milk feeds a day.
