Loose motions usually may be caused by any infection which may be associated with symptoms like fever and vomiting apart from increased frequency of motion which may be watery. in this symptomatic treatment is given along with management of dehydration.in case of vomiting can give domstal for now. If loose motions are associated with foul smell or mucus it could be bacterial infection which need proper antibiotic treatment that could be decided by the consulting pediatrician . for now you can start giving probiotic like enterogermina 2 times a day. Avoid any kind of maida containing food or junk food and give only moong daal khichdi ,curd rice ,coconut water etc. Avoid giving excess of milk ,you can also give banana which will help. Giving ORS solution and more of water will compensate for the loss of liquids in the body.g
