#asktheexpert My daughter is suffering from Fever for the last 2 days..Throat infection but no idea how she got infected. Every hour the temperature is fluctuating between 100° to 102°c Giving her medicines but how long will it take to cure& fever to go away?

Author of questionFather of a 2 yr 10 m old girl1 Year agoA. Hi..Thanks for your advice. Our Pediatrician has also advised to give Calpol Liquid 5ml every 4hrs & check the temperature every hour. The only concern is that how soon the baby will overcome this feverish stage as she is losing apetite & refusing to take her normal course of food. Also she is suffering from acute constipation.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. tfhi. fever can be because of different reasons most of the times viral bacterial sometimes due to less immunity there can be recurrence better to treat only with paracetamol if the fever more than 100degr
