#AskTheExpert My daughter is suffering from acute dihorrea from the last 4 days. I am giving her Zinc syrup and ors, but persists. What else should I give to overcome the dihorrea. she is becoming weak day by day and also refusing food...

A. continue with zinc n ors, offer natural probiotics like curd, buttermilk. One thing you can though to help bulken up the stools is by giving a brat diet - banana, rice, apple, sago kheer.give plenty of breastmilk to keep baby hydrated and prevent dehydration.

A. good morning I would recommend you to try to give your baby cold lemon tea with roasted makhana 4 to 5 times throughout the day you will notice that the loose motions will stop completely
