#AskTheExpert my daughter is of 7 month and suffering from cough and cold since last 5 days..we are nebulizing with levolin and hyperneb but still no relief...not able to sleep due to nose congestion...please suggest what to do ..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where fmost of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decfongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

use nebulizer as suggested by your doctor for fast relief
keep a bowl of chopped onion near her bed apptox three feet far over night and
keep her well hydrated
