Q.

#asktheexpert My daughter is little bit on heavier side, although she is active but she likes to eat more sweet things but I try to avoid extra sugar as much as I can and I also give her milk without sugar so please suggest what all can I give her to complete essential nutrients in her diet

A. cut on sugar ok.You can always try to add health and tasty substitute like whole grain cookies, cakes and. Home made papad etc.patience is very important too.To increase weight you must add high energy foods like eggs paneer , soya , ghee in rice , khichdi etc.this will boost him ok.

A. hi mam,keep continue to offer homemade healthy food. you can offer food items like Ragi , sprouts etc use jeggary instead of sugar while making food for your child,it is safe and hygienic. encourage your child to do more physical activities.
