A. Itchy skin in both limbs that has persisted for six months could be caused by various factors, including fungal infections, mosquito bites, or even allergic reactions. If the treatments prescribed by different doctors haven't worked, it's important to follow up with a pediatric dermatologist for a more thorough evaluation. The doctor may recommend specific antifungal creams, antihistamines, or other treatments based on the exact diagnosis. It's essential to avoid scratching, as this can worsen irritation or lead to infections. Maintaining good hygiene and using hypoallergenic skin care products may also help manage the symptoms.
