Q.

#asktheexpert My daughter is having feeding bottle infection.. She is having loose motion because of that.Please guide what precautions we should take? She is 6 months old.. I am a working women so I have to give formula milk through feeding bottle.

A. if loose motion of the child is not improving the foremost thing you have to do is take a follow with your doctor. it is advisable not to give outside milk if going on and you may have to switch to either lactose free milk or soya milk. please go for stool examination as well as stool culture which will differentiate lactose intolerance with infection. you can continue to give probiotics like such a super flora gg and zinc supplements. (you have to hold multivitamcin and iron during loose motions) many times loose motions improving 10 to 15 days also in case of viral diarrhoea.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please use a silicon based and BPA free bottle like BabyHug to feed the baby. Please change the bottle after every three months and change the nipple of the bottle after one month. Also, the bottle every time you feed the baby. Use BabyHug multipurpose cleaner and maintain proper hygiene. Thanks and take care
