#asktheexpert my daughter is eating mud, plaster and small pieces of bricks for the last 15-20 days. she is also given calcium and iron for the last 1 month prescribed by our family doctor. what to do to stop her.

A. Hello, It sounds like 'Pica'. .. Pica is an eating disorder that is quite common among young ones..The disorder is defined as persistent and compulsive cravings to eat nonfood items....It is due to calcium or iron deficiency in babies... please do check with your paedritician and management accordingly.
