#asktheexpert my daughter is born 1month and 20 days premature with low birth weight of 1.350kg. She is 10 months old now and weighs only 6.200kg. Is it normal that she is yet to sit and doesn't eat well?

Hi See it would be a less weight but since your child is premature or maybe which is why the wait is less so need not worry about it as it is the weight will increase over the period but since you are already saying that your child is not eating well it is a question of concern and if your child is not sitting well as of now also get a check because a milestone can delay by mostly a month not more than that I mean in general cases the child should reach the milestone within maximum two months of it
