ExpertDr Arti SharmaPaediatrician7 years agoA. No it doesn't honey helps in constipation Diets high in fat or protein or defficient in bulk cause constipation. You may increase the amount of cereal ,vegetables and fruits. And ensure good fluid intake. black raisins is helpful You can soak black raisins in water overnight and bring it to boil. Give this water to him give mashed papaya

SantoMom of a 8 yr 7 m old girl7 years agoA. Honey Can cause constipation. Gently rub your baby’s tummy, making circles in clockwise direction. Take care not to press too hard. Try to feed baby in elevated position. Burp well baby in between feeds and burp well after every feed. Give tummy time to baby if baby is comfortable. Just try to give warm compress over tummy for instant relief. Just soak a towel in warm water and squeeze water and gently press over tummy. Avoid gassy foods if your breastfeeding. Do cycling exercises to baby its very effective.

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children7 years agoA. It does not cause constipation in the baby but please avoid giving honey to the baby till the baby completes a year. Once the baby completes six months can start with some dal pani rice pani mashed banana pureed apple and cerelac. It takes time to get used to solids
