#AskTheExpert My daughter is 6 months old. I've just started giving her semi solid food. Once a day. How much quantity should i give? When should I increase the quantity?

A. hi you should start with few spoons of quantity. I mean ,it is better to follow 3 days rule. whenever you introduce new food to your child,give food in 3 tbsp quantity and feed the particular food item for 3 days so you may check whether your child is allergic to that food item or not. then once your child become used to of it ,or accept the new food item well ,you can gradually increase the consistency and quantity of food
