#AskTheExpert My daughter is 5 months old now .In 4 th month she was for 1 day due to diarrhoea and slight temperature,feverand doctor prescribed Isomil for her . Before that I use to feed her buffalo milk, Before that I use to feed her . Due to less supply of milk I started giving her buffalo milk. Doctor told to continue Isomil till 1year. Isomil is soy based milk powder. will she be lactose intolerance after 1 year? please let me know .Is it safe to give Isomil till 1 year

A. well better see a doctor.Best will be to consult a doctor there as well who can practically see the patient and help to get a diagnosisSee try to consult to a good pediatrician there who will do a full check up and tell the diagnosis

A. good morning yes it is possible that the child has become lactose intolerant you are supposed to give any kind of animal milk after completion of 12 months only it might cause these issues
