#AskTheExpert My daughter is 4 yrs old. She is saying stomach pain and going 2 bathroom often from yesterday night. The same thing happened 3 weeks back and doctor gave few medications. Now again she is saying this problem. Could it be due to some infection?

A. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently. There could be many reasons for this .it can be functional or due to some pathology whichf needs to be ruled out. Common causes are constipation gaseous discomfort worm infestation gastritis gastroenteritis or some chronic infection . Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach pacin and consult your doctor for proper examintation to rule out the cause .
