#AskTheExpert my daughter is 4 yrs old and she have problems of constipation and after some days she had loose motion . This happen always first constipation and then loose motion . And weight is not increasing she is 14 kg

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infectigyon which needs antibiotics treatment
