Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter is 4 year old .one week ago we we took a blood test for having continuous fever,and in the result ESR value showing as 25 .I worried to see that ,but doctor said that this is ok don't worry about it .ESR normal value for kids is 1-10. is it ok having this value in result?or what indicates this variation?

A. Even if there is anemia or even if the slightest infection the ESR value will be raised so if you give adequate medication it will come back to normal so don’t worry about it.Write Your Answer Here
