#AskTheExpert my daughter is 3 months old..she responds to sound but doesnot turn towards it..by which month should she do so..

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Hello,hearing is fully developed within the first month, your baby may only start to respond to sounds much later at the age of 3-4 month babies can hear and pick up on the different sounds and react by cooing, smiling,etc.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 5 m old girl3 years agoA. hi ideally ,he should start learning this at this stage of age but as all babies are different and growing at different rates ,you should wait for few days more if a child is not able to respond or not able to turn his face on particular side , please visit your pediatrician
