#AskTheExpert my daughter is 3 month by what time she will start holding her neck properly? Also she suck her hand so much is this what happens at this time

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. neck holding of the child should be present by 4 months to maximum 5 months of age.
regular massage of the back as well as the neck will help in strengthcening the muscles of this area.
if neck holding and head holding is not proper by the end of 5 months it is important to meet the doctor for examination to find the cause of delayed milestones

every baby is different in achieving milestone. Neck holding comes anytime between 3-5 months.
And putting fingers in mouth or sucking hands is due to teething .
so start to give ur baby teethers like babyhug teethers that put pressure on gums and give relief to baby from pain and itching during teething.
