Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter is 3.3 years old,had fever of 102.2°f,went to hospital they gav her paracetamol syrup 2.5 ml and consulted the doctor and he prescribed medications and when we came home i gave the prescriptions to her that includes paracetamol....it is within 1 HR gap from hospital....is this will cause paracetamol toxicity

A. It should not be repeated after one hour as it has to be rrieated after every four to six hours interval and never exceed more than four doses in 24 hours
