#AskTheExpert my daughter is 22month old. use is month m 4 bar fever hogya h n cough v ho rkha h medicine dene se ekbar thik hoti h n fir kuch time baad fever ho jate h. kal pura din vomit v ho rha tha PLZZ advice kya Krna chaiye?

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever isgh there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Paracetamol can be given for the fever every 6 hourly of fever is reoccurring frequently. Fever may be due to any viral infection so mostly will subside in 3 days other wise consult a doctor near by.
