A. Dear parent, weight of 9.5 kg is a normal weight for 20 months old baby. For healthy weight gain, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add dry fruits like almonds, walnuts to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Give 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time.

Banana, mango, potato, beans, Dal (urad dal ladoo, idly, toordal, chanadal, moongdal, rajma), ghee, cheese, butter, curd, paneer, dry fruits powder, egg, meat helps in increasing baby's weight.
