#asktheexpert my daughter is 2 year old. Should I be giving her vitamin d supplements now also

A. if baby has enough exposure in the sun and you don't feel the necessity you can always go for a vitamin deficiency test and after that only giving any kind of vitamin is recommendable... however do you speak with your paediatric I would suggest speaking to your paediatric and taking a decision..

A. vitamin d 3 is prescribed from birth till the baby complete one year.. to meet the calcium requirements, for strong teeth and strong bones... consult your pediatric regarding the need of medicine.. should be given or not.. take care of baby diet, if baby takes diet properly there is no need of vitamin supplements.
