Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. yes can give after consulting dr.
the recurrent stretching / curving of the body again and again as well as uncomfort / making grunting sounds as well as hiccups as well as colic pain all are due to gas in the intestine and stomach.
it is very important that after giving milk to the child you
should keep the child in upright position and do burping for 15 to 20 minutes(irrespective that you hear the burps or not). gas in stomach causes hiccups.
do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because one time burping will not remove all the gas and if the gas is not removed properly it goes into intestine causing abnormal distension and that will lead to colic pain again and again.
keep the child in upright position whether you hear the burping sound or not and also it is not important that you will hear the sound when the child removes the air from the oral cavity.
shreya goelMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hello mom
No, not at all when babies are totally on milk. Then gastric issues are very common in babies. So in such case, you should definitely not worry about it at all. You should just continue with the gas and you can apply mamma earth hing roll
On It will help in curing the gas issues. Rather than this baby should be on Mother , milk or you can also give formula milk, but don’t give anything else to your baby
