#asktheexpert my daughter is 2.5 yrs old Since 4 days she is having abdominal pain at interval of 30 minute The pain is very acute And fever is also there Consulted the doctor , doctor suggested the viral infection Anything u would to share ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently.
There could be many reasons for this .it can be functional or due to some pathology which needs to be ruled out.
Common causes are constipation gaseouses discomfort worm infestation gastritis gastroenteritis or some chronic infection .
Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach pain and consult your doctor for proper examintation to rule out the cause .
