Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is 1month old and I have also introduced formula feed to her once or twice a day as per the guidelines or pediatrician advice. But whenever I feed her formula milk, she somehow always vomit alot post feeding. Do I need to be concerned about it? However I have not seen this case after the breastfeeding.

A. Milk is very important for babies specially in the initial days of life breast milk is very important and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . formula milk should be given only as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. accorgding to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 fromg 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 . after one year cows milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be used only after the completion of two years of age .

A. It would just be a digestion issues because the powder milk is quite heavy and as compare to breastfeeding is it would completely depend also as to what kind of quantity are you giving to the child so try to feed less quantity of milk and see if that helpsWrite Your Answer Here
