Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is 17 months old who is having diarrhoea since two days .We are giving her ors,zincgut ,mebarid syrup but her poop is still liquid and stinking.

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and guuits known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Then you should conduct a stool test for your child as that way you will come to know what is the problem is it an infection or something else associated and according to that only they can help you with the right kind of medications to go ahead with mostly antibiotics would be the right thing to go ahead with as of now
