#asktheexpert my daughter is 1 month old. She kept grunting last night in sleep in short intervals. She has passed gas as well. She was grunting (ऐंठना) which is why her sleep was also disturbed. Could you please tell me the possible reasons for this or is it normal with babies ?

A. it is important to meet the doctor for examination because relevant history has to be evaluated along with proper medical check up. meet the doctor for complete examination if needed thxe doctor will go for investigations
