A. for such a prolonged fever you will have to go for blood investigations. the most important infection which is prevalent in india and has to be ruled out his typhoid for which blood culture is impxortant. also urinary tract infection has to be ruled out. if the child is having fever without any proper focus then x-ray and sonography needs to be done too. please continue to meet your doctor every third or fourth day for evaluation.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. But it is really very difficult to say anything without proper examination of the baby. It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly Thanks and take care
