Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. definitely you will have to rule out hearing problem in the child and at the same time kindly decrease the screen time and meet your doctor for milestones assessment
DEVELOPMENT by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not

s madaanMom of a 9 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. if a child is above 18 months old then definitely you should talk to the doctor for this it is a speech delay and it requires guidance of a speech therapist or a doctor in this case
