#AskTheExpert My daughter had green stool (not loose) with blood and mucus. She was given antibiotic (Diofds). Tge motion has subsided but, the color of the stool is still a bit green. Is this normal? How long will the color remain green?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. It's fairly common for your child to have green poop at some point. It's almost always harmless. It often just means that the stool passed through the intestines more quickly so that all of the normal bile (which is green) did not have time to be absorbed back into the body.
