Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter doesn't sleep in night. she sleeps in the morning. she takes a power nap of 15- 20 minutes in between. what can I do to change her sleep cycle.

A. Sleeping pattern in children may be variable in different age group so if the baby is active and taking proper feeding with no other complaints most of the time there is nothing to worry. You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be becaushe of factors like temperagture of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger. In older children a proper discipline is required so that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according to a proper time try to avoid too much of screen time with sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.

A. hi it is normal it will change naturally just feed your child on demand make sure your child feel comfortable while sleeping. keep the room temperature moderated. avoid distractions while sleeping and swaddle your baby well I would suggest Babyhug swaddling clothe which is made up of 100% Cotton
