A. It sounds like your baby is going through a challenging time with both frequent stooling and a cough and cold. At 6 months, it's common for babies to have digestive issues or mild illnesses as their immune system develops. The frequent stooling could be related to a mild infection or a reaction to new foods (if solids have been introduced recently). Sometimes, even when probiotics are prescribed, it can take a little time for the gut to stabilize. For the cough and cold, ensure your baby stays well-hydrated, and use a humidifier in the room to ease congestion. Avoid giving over-the-counter medicines without consulting a doctor. If her condition doesn't improve soon, or if you notice signs like dehydration, increased fever, or difficulty breathing, it's best to follow up with the doctor. They may want to re-evaluate her symptoms or try a different approach.
