Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter (22 months old) is having fever for past 2 days. It was mild at 99-100 F and yesterday evening it crossed 101. she's not eating anything for 2 days now, but is taking milk (nan pro) only. we have her crocin. she's quite active when fever subsides. but the fever is coming back. what could be the reason and what should we do?

A. It can he viral fever which takes around 3 to 5 days so repeat the dose after six hours and keep monitoring the temperature of the baby and keep the baby hydrated

A. hi fever is reaction of body to infection. so as your child has temperature 100 and above from two days please consult your pediatrician. keep your child well hydrated. offer warm water with pinch of salt and Tulsi leaves ,give it in 2 tbsp quantity every 2 hours. dress your child in cotton clothes. maintain good hygiene.
