#asktheexpert My child takes only breastfeed but in night he wakes up and cries as if something is paining or colic or he wants to be cuddled, doesn’t understand.

A. the baby is having some pain in the stomach incline excessively in the night time is maybe infantile colic which is very common in babies in this age you can give gastica drops to the baby

A. Hi for comfort purpose baby will use breast for comfort and safety. Even when they are not hungry. They just wanna suck for comfort nothing else. They feel secure doing it so especially more at night times. Until you stop feeding this would continue justvfor comfort purpose.
