#asktheexpert my child suffering from typhoid last 14 days ,we r admitted in hospital after 5 days his feveri is normal but again and again fever come 99-101 why it can take some time.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in typhoid fever it continues for around 7 to 10 days also after starting antibiotics. so please do not worry and continue antibiotics for at least 10 days and after that the child will improve

So if your child has recovered then before, then do not worry and just keep on giving the medication to the child. As directed by the doctor. Soon is the infection has reduced then he will be better. Just make sure to give medications properly.
